If PDS is paying all Alliacense licensing costs, PDS should be able exert complete control over what Alliacense does. No? If this were not the case, and TPL actually was billing the other portfolios properly for work done by Alliacense, could PDS make such a request?
I think whats happening is that PDS is collecting revenues for Alliacense of licenses that were not only of the MMP.... so when TPL sold a packaged deal...eg. MMP + Core Flash... then when PDS would distribution of the revenue ( ptsc to TPL)---- perhaps TPL was creating an inflated value for the Core Flash..
Eg. SOld 1 million for MMP & Core Flash. -- TPL could say-- oh $500,000 for MMP and $500,00 for core.
PDS then distributes --- $250,000 to PTSC and $750,000 to TPL.
So PTSC is asking that PDS only collect for the MMP licenses--- they can not collect for Core Flash or whatever bundles licenses TPL may try to attach.
PTSC also is asking for approval on the final sale as to prevent TPL from just getting the customer to make 2 payments -- one to PDS and one to TPL. This way PTSC says--- 800,000 for MMP --- sell Core Flash at whatever price ... but MMP should be XXX...
just my thoughts..
