What is "logical" is that TPL/PTSC had little leverage and were strapped for cash (like now) back in 2010 during the Apple License, that TPL had a chance to comingle license their own Patents for 5 times as much as they valued the MMP for, didn't want to anger Apple, and that they had to choose their legal targets very carefully.

Fabricating a scenario to justify the price of an extremely cheap license (approx $5M total) sold to the world's most valued company, by a tiny gnat JV which was in major conflict with it's partners and also operating under a "Going Concern" opinion Audit, is not "logical".
