You forget that there is very little $80/bbl oil left in the US. Any drilling would have to be heavily subsidized by the US taxpayer. I would think that you would be against government entitlements. Or does that just apply to poor people?

We have vast untapped oil in Alaska, off the coast and under the rocky mountains. The government dosn't have to subsidize the oil companies to drill for it they'll do it on their own. The government just needs to get out of the way so Americans can go to work specifically democrats. I credit the liberal democrats with the whole middle east mess and 911. If we wern't so dependent on foreign oil, none of these problems would have happened. It's all on their backs.
