Expanding existing facilities is the easiest means of increasing capacity in most cases. Many of the labs in other countries are affiliated with some here in Canada and for them Quality control is not a problem. As someone else mentioned a week or so ago, the short term difficulty is in the recruiting and training of new staff to get them certified to standards. These people are soft assets and with sufficient time lead shis can be addressed as well. Some Questions; a) Does anyone out there have good insight into exactly what the situation with respect to Assay Lab Technical Certification is? b) How quickly can Labs acquire and train Technical Staff to Industry Standards? c) Are Labs currently attempting to meat increasing demand for Assay work? i) By training new Technical Staff? ii) By expansion of existing Facilities? iii) By construction of new Facilities?
