My thoughts exactly.  I did not have enough self confidence to post it.  The longer I live the more I see our government manipulating, and even lying to either get or maintain power.  I just hope my gold and silver investments protect me and my family from really tough times I feel are coming to the US.  I have put about 10% of my assets in the loonie.  Another 20% in other currencies.  I did this last June.  This was money I got from the sell of my home.  I now rent very cheaply.  So far it has worked very well.
