I agree -

Why can someone else take my shares and use them to drive the price down? They are using my shares against me. I have provided them with the means to take money from me.

This is not to mention the naked shorters that may not even have to produce the shares that they have "borrowed" to beat the price down. It doesn't make any sense to me.
