Milsy, You describe te situation to a tee. I spent the weekend at that conference in Vancouver, and at no time did I get the impression anyone there was looking for a buyout at this time. There was lots of discussion vis a vis an eventual buyout of course, but everyone there (FWR,NOT) describes the eventual result. "When they have the goods proved up, and the majors come calling" would describe the mood of the day.

I also wonder about the posters that keep worrying themselves about the BOD being there simply to do a deal with some major as soon as possible and get out of town. That kind of logic is stupid, in my mind. Think about it. They have control of the greatest thing to hit the junior exploration market in many years. If they can prove up, maybe 100-150 mill tons of chrome, and maybe as little as 10-15 mill tons of nickel, they will have a winner. They have the odds on their side. Why would they give it away to someone else to have all the glory. Think of the BOD as the same as you think of yourselves.

You are an investor in NOT, or FWR, or SPQ, or FNC, or any of the others, or all or just some of them. You have put up your money because you think this play is going to produce multiples of returns for your investment. If you pull your money out of here, you have to have someplace else to put it in order to maintain a profit going forward. There is nowhere that has as good a chance at success.

The BOD is in the same boat as you. All the larger holders, such as "the funds" are also. They can push this thing short term, maybe get a buyout for 2 or 3 dollars and where are they. They made a small gain and now have to look for somewhere else to do their thing. But there is nothing else out there that has the same porential as the ROF.

Take it for what it is worth; There is no buyout in the works and there is no one pushing to find one. Come end of winter season, and a couple more good hits that run the SP up to an acceptable level, and it will be a different story.

Regards

K
