Here I go again stealing another snipet from your post:

The tipping point for this play is going to be about 50-60 mill tons of chrome total, between the players.

I suspect that the said 50-60 mill tons is the result of your "putting numbers down on paper"? (Or have you gleaned this threshold elsewhere?)

If this threshold is the tipping point, I would like to put it in perspective what it will take to take to get there.

The specific gravity of Chromite is 4.5 - 4.8 (as per wikipedia) and therefore we would need somewhere in the neighborhood of 11 - 13 million cubic metres.

Strike length through various company claims has been stated to be 14 km and JonDefur has stated that is is more like 20 km. As John also stated, it is not continuous over this distance but I think we can safely assume that of this 14-20 kms, there will be 4000 mtrs. Although we do not know true width as of yet, I would suggest that using 30-40 mtrs is not too much of a stretch.

Therefore, in order to recognize 50-60 million tons with the above guesstimates, depth would have to average roughly 80-95 mtrs.

Only a matter of time.

Cheers again,

Milsy1
