We again should think about what is PET.

POET without the optical part. So which potential products are we talking about?

Isn't the O the salt in this soup? Remember that the CPU type of products will need the optical clock distribution to speed up things? Also the memory chips with RAM and NAND features lives up with the fast data flow using optical signals.

So we will need the laser (here in plane), waveguides and detectors. 

Could it be that our optical engine is the proof point for most of the subsequent applications?
