hey Rocket: Very interesting video at la Fontaine du Diable. Quite similar to what I've seen along the shores of the Athabasca River which basically disects the oil sands formation in the Ft. McMurray area of Alberta. In the summertime you can actually see the tar dripping into the river and forming irredescent sheens on the water. It is a natural phenomena much similar to the migration of NG to the surface in the Lowlands. I have a friend whose brother heats his barn and greenhouse in the lowlands with the NG flowing naturally to the surface. All he had to do was stick a 6" pipe 5 ft into the ground and add a pump and pressurized holding vessel. Free gas...he's not complaining about it but apparently his water well has always had a sulphurous odour. Something that is resolved by letting the water stand so the gas can volatilize before it is used for cooking or drinking.
