I wish to undersrore that every time the Minister or the PM have commented on shale gas over the last few months , they underlined every time their wish to go through with the project in a secure maner , and they've answered to false or unfunded accusations regarding the exploitation of shale gas every time as well , while reminding the people about the importance of such a project for the future of the provincial financial health .

It's very obvious this government wish to go through with it , and they won't put unreasonable hurdles in the way of the industry , while putting in place safe regulations for exploration and exploitation . Royalties should be expected to be competitive in this North American market as well .

When this govt. will go on election they will want to be in a position to be able to brag about the future succes of the shale gas industry in this province , since it might very well be among very few realisation to be positive . They will also want to remind people that the money and business it will bring to the province will help them maintain services to a population increasingly growing older and in need of those services .
