First of all let me comment that I just watched a documnetary, I believe it was called Tectonic Europe, but not sure. The show was a truly fascinating story about Iceland and the geography and covered a variety of facinating topics including energy. I highy recomend the show. At the end of the show I mentioned to my wife that Iceland is a must visit destination for us.
Secondly I see no need to moderate a discussion just because there are opposing views of a company as long as the dicussion is kept healthy. When trading stocks we obviously realize that there may be 2 sides, or more, to any story, whether it be an energy play, a diamond play, or for that matter, a bank of America , all of which I might add, have offered up more twists and turns from oil spills , to human slavery, to mortage crisis senarios, and even thrown into the mix, the odd twist of a Madoff situation.
We cannot be expected to react to every situation be it political or moral, nor should anyone be comdemmed or slotted as a profiteer. There will always be opposing views, there will always be people buying blood diamonds, or moving in to take advantage of another countries rescource whether it be energy, gold, oil etc etc etc etc etc. for all kinds of reasons. All views should be respected as the person that are expressing them, pro or con to your personal situation.
Anyhow keep the conversation a healthy debate without becoming extreme so we can all enjoy it and remember we're here to exchange knowledge and yes make a few investment dollars at the same time....cheers Chris
