Hi, Scone, Thanks for pointing out Talison. Seems safe and well developed. Never thought of Australia before, but makes sense. Arid desert regions prime for brines. Also, have looked at Rodinia (control 90% of Clayton Valley), Western Lithium (?), First Lithium (?), Lithium 1 (seems to be doing well), Pan America Lithium (all in Mexico, Chile, and other South American locations). The big question is: which countries are best bets for investing? So far, only the Clinton Valley is a producer in America. Rodina's strategic location could be good -- have to wait and see -- similar geology and proximity to the Clayton mine. Other claims staked by all kinds of companies in the area. Are these just spec or real resources? Mexico, Bolivia, and Chile could be good for the Asian markets, already existing (Pan America Lithium looks good here -- proven resources and investment from POSCO).
But not just which company, which region/country do you see taking off in the future? I see a big demand for lithium, but will it mostly be coming from in America (which could make Clayton Valley and other brine areas look attractive -- this would fit in with Obama's 2015 plan), or will the focus remain mainly on the Asian markets? Or both? Any advice could help me on how to invest!
I want lithium, but not sure who? or where?...cheers...sammy
