Sammy raised some valid points from investors point of view. Many Icelanders agree with you about "convenient marriage" of the government and that the economy of Iceland was brought down by ruthless Icelandic gangsters. One method they used was to blow in helium into the balance sheet of their companies, by jacking up intangible assets such as good will. This helium balloon blew, and now they are screeching like Donald Duck all over the place. This was in fact a big ponzi scheme a la Madoff, with the exception that Madoff confessed and went to jail, but no-one is confessing and everyone is free as a bird but schreeching and getting a little bit uncomfortable.

You are also right about Mdme Eva Joly, she is a guru, she has a successful track record and experience in "fight against fraudster", something that was unavailable in Iceland when the crisis hit.

You raised "ethic" into your investing strategy, which is the key argument against Mr. Ross Beaty and his highpressure intention in Iceland.

His "egg basket" is mainly based on one big egg in Iceland, the expansion plan does not have solid potential, unless his master plan is to aquire Landsvirkjun, the main competitor in Iceland.

When Magma Energy could not acquire the shares in ORKA from Canada, he touched down in Sweden at a laywers office and founded a company, for this purpose only.

He admits he hates the fact that "foreigners"are investing potash in Canada.

I like the fact that you put "ethic" as a factor in your investing strategy, bud sadly the other side of the Magma story doesn't appeal to anyone in Canada at this time, and it is hard to read from Canadian that Icelanders are "ill-informed" about their own issues!

Yours truly

Jenny Stefania
