There are not that many world wide copanies that have reveunes of 1oo billion or more. Data current as of April 2007, total equals 23 and none would probably be on our list of infringers.

Revenues are important, but profits are more important. Any large company woith a first class legal staff is not going to give up a large percent of their net income and watch their stock price fall. Investors would chop off their necks,

We are dealing with companies whose revenues are in the range of perhaps 100 mmillion or less to the top end of 50 to 80 billion.

I think we have a reason to be optimistic, but its not going to be a walk in the park. I personally don't see any revenue coming to us until early spring or mid-summer of 2008 at best.

Some of the companies you mention plus a couple of others

In billions Revenue Profits

Intel 35.4 5
TI 14.3 4.3
Samsung 79.5 7.5
Apple 20.7 2.4
MSFT 46.1 11.9
Sony 63.6 1.1
Nokia 54.3 5.7

I have the fortunes list of the top 1000 companies , world wide, showing industry, sales, profits, asets and market value. Again, even a large settlement would probably be paid out over a few years as large and profitable companies and their respective investors would not want to see a big hit on the share price.

None of the lawsuits are going to be easy in my opinion and could last many months or even past a year.
