You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
On long messages, I copy and paste using Word, but you have to preview the message as the format doesn't always work, then you make the adjustments accordingly.
Like on tables, even the preview is ok, but the final post doesn't always match the preview.
