That's the way I saw it....
Guess it depends on how prevalent through out the industry the tech is. Was it important that AMD and Intel were first on the list?
Seeing recent Patriot news, it must be that fabless developers now have more than enough resource to turn to and this would be the territory to go after. AMD and Intel...etc, are not important any more, other than a testing ground, beat them and your ideas are proven.
Over time, progress will digest and condense the ideas for the manners of physical fabrication as well as the intellectual ideas.

IMO....for some of the ideas I have reviewed, they will be prevalent through out the industry for some time to come, no matter what the physical make up. If one wants a simple form of serial application with building blocks for utility, its a winner.
The industry is now pushing hard on serialized anatomy. e.Digital holds a software solution to it.
