Why would they want to support the share price?

Not true at all. Ernesto probably is happier he gets more shares per financing when he does PP's. Me, and anyone else still accumulating prefers to buy low, knowing that they will sell (Read: Be forced to sell on buyout) high. Seeing the SP go high is bad for anyone who still wants more shares. It does suck for those under water, trading etc. However, for anyone just waiting - it only sucks on a psychological level. But it's something that's better because they're not wasting money on PR, Dual listings, etc. Raising awareness doesn't help them, it hinders them.
