CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Talk about complete, unsubstantiated, missinformation. Rolled the dice and it didn't work out? That's completely inaccurate. Just because Copper Fox has smartly managed their budget and focused on the quickest return on capital doesn't mean Sombrerro Butte isn't a good asset.
Must you continue with the FUD?
==================
What FUD.
We are just discussing the stock. When Sombrerro Butte was aquired there was plans to test it further (Titan survey, I think). As far as I can see, and please correct if Im wrong - we have really made no progress on that part of desert fox. All the focus has been on VD, which is fine.
I assume they took a closer look at SB and havent thrown money at it. There has been little news or progress regarding SB. Maybe it is a good asset, we have no info. Have they made the next installment payment, I dont know. I am making assumptions, not pretending to know anything as fact.
Im happy with any reduction in spending and everything they do to conserve cash.
It seems they bought it cheap, looked closer and havent proceeded further because it isnt worth the further expense. At least it seems that way to me. It would be smart to abandon something that doesnt look stellar.
Does everything they touch have to be great or is there hits and misses like all the other explorers.
