I think this is why everyone was congratulating them at PDAC on their purchase of Van Dyke.

Bell Copper, who owned Van Dyke, had another good prospect as well called La Balsa and couldn't pursue both projects. They wanted to put La Balsa into production. Bell Copper has just about vanished so they must have been fairly desperate.

Most mining projects pass through many hands before they actually go into production, especially during the exploration phase.

You have to remember when we took it on many juniors were suffering and even Majors were selling off assets.
