I asked Belanger in a conference call whether this was the final permit or not when this was issued. His response was it was a permit for preliminary construction and preperation for the tailing pond and mining facilities only. It was not a permit to start mining in his words. This makes sense because the engineering at that time was only about 60% complete on some critical aspects of thier project and there is no way a permit could have been issued on unfinished engineering of a project. Where the engineering sits at this date today would be an interesting question.
