I've been here way too long ;-)

But seriously folks, I always had a price plan worked out in my head permit-wise etc. The whole scenario kinda came off the rails when Ortega made her announcement regarding the Imataca and mining. When you're still at a couple bucks, it's a lot easier to envision 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 or whatever dollars than when you're at 31 cents :-(

My hopes for a huge permit bump are a lot less optimistic than they once were. I'm more or less looking towards the "end game" with Crystallex now. By that I mean, and history (posting on various boards) will show, I don't believe Crystallex will ever mine Cristinas - never did. What I do believe is that if the permit is granted, the closer we get to the commencement of production, the more intense the pressure will be one one or more of the majors to take Crystallex out... we're talking about a huge amount of ounces here boys and girls.

So, I believe that if we get the permit and build the mine, we will be taken out by a major... that has always been my contention. As for "at what price" I believe that at 900 or 1000 dollar gold, the price will be in the $6 to $8 USD range. At $2000 gold, the price will be closer to the $10 to $12 USD range. From where we stand today, I'd say that would be a fairly decent return.

Oh, yeah... I should add; this is all contingent on Hugo granting us the permit.
