The evolution of the "EV revolution" is indeed something we will probably never agree :-). And the "more friendly" electricity generation is just fiction. At least for next few decades. Germany is classic example of this failure. They declared the end of coal and nuclear power generation and made the economy attached to Russian gas as temporary solution till wind and solar take over.
We all know, how it has ended: last 3 nuclear power stations were recovered from its death and entire Europe suffer from high electricity bills.
Solar and winds are simply not sustainable sources unless we agree on consumption cuts and much higher prices. And till we get something better than nuclear, all EVs are virtually running on "external combustion engine", which is typically a steam turbine of nearest coal/gas power station.
Anyway, another 2 cents on my evergreen strory. Sorry for any mistakes, no spellchecker available this time :-)
