If you are suggesting that the totality of DD was the PR, then perhaps more should have been done before stating:

Both Goerner and Bibeau have extensive managerial and operational business experience

Now, let's suppose for one second that the Board's DD went a little deeper and they came to the same conclusion. Are you suggesting that they should have had the foresight to predict what the appointees would have done months down the road?

Go on, you tell me how the non-executives, no matter how well connected or experienced in the field, would have interfered with the remit of an executives officer?

Then explain how you know the BoD did it any differently, using any method of your choosing.
