Thanks for your post. The only messages we have to delete are those that deal specifically with insider or material information such as press releases, drill results, acquisitions, mergers, financing, etc.

General conversations are fine. For example, "Spoke with the office and XX said everything is fine and on schedule" is not a problem.

It is not a matter of member trust, it is a matter of the information itself. Securities regulators don't look at member ratings, they look at the information. If they don't like the information, that can cause a problem for everybody.
