If NOT holds a chunk of shares of FWR and CLF wins the battle, do you really think that CLF can pick and choose who they purchase from? If NOT (and I do mean IF) they were to decide to sell, I don't believe CLF can say that the offer only applies to people they want to buy from.
I was speculating on a possibility that sparked some thought and ideas....thats a good thing.
As for the integrity of the BoD, I don't see profiting from a battle lost is necessarily a bad thing. They took a shot at trying to consolidate and IF they lose to a major with bigger deeper pockets, then I say go ahead and profit, drill up more reources, prove up larger PGE/Ni?Au resources and lets move forward.
