Sure, one can make all sorts of *assumptions/predictions* some even make projections, but until we read it in B&W (black and white OR whatever your font colour is) nothing, nothing can be taken for granted...

Oh, we can make sufficiently justified assumptions/predictions, for example regarding the integrated VCSEL transceiver product and the detector product being ready by the end of this year.

Sure, we cannot be 100 % certain to meet the target date – not even POET can, but the bets are much, much better than 50:50. We do know for sure that the technology works – unless you will believe only if you hold a POET chip in your own hands and do the characterizations yourself –, so the questions is only when, not if.

I think this is very much different from "mystery mode"!
