The x licensing seems to point to possible friendly ventures with the first six. With that, even though there's a sense of hostility between Samsung and e.Digital.....there could very well be friendly intent going on.
It would be in e.Digitals, as well as the first 7, to have some common ground in moving forward within the industry together.
The industry is full of allied relationships.
Heck NOR and NAND had there respective alliances, which are now all a blur of who is on whose team.
