What have we really gotten. EDIG has a one time fee and gave away the rights to use the technology for a nusance fee.

You're thinking too small. Think 174+ license fees equivalent to several hundred million dollars. Changes things a bit huh?

-----

We have no communication with EDIG with regards to what they are doing with the money other than paying off debts.

Just curious, do you ever actually read EDIG's PR's? From the 21 Jan 09 PR:

“While we have a great record of innovation, until recently, we have not had the resources to grow our eVU business into other markets beyond in flight entertainment (IFE),” continued Cocumelli. “With the recent and expected influx of new licensing revenues, we are in a better position to pursue business opportunities and partnerships in the medical industry, and in other segments of the travel and leisure industry."

In an environment where many, many companies are straddled with debt, laying off/firing employees and filing for bankruptcy, paying off debt is just inexcusable! Is that what you're trying to force feed us here?

-----

Im not trying to bash but just saying it like I see it.

Wow, for not trying you really excel at bashing and spewing negativism toward this company. And for years no less. A suggestion...in light of EDIG's recent overwhelming success in reaching IP settlements from six major companies, why not take off your $hit-colored glasses and look at EDIG objectively again? Even you would have to admit EDIG is in its best position EVER as a company to become the successful company we've all believed it could be.

-----

Instead of waiting years for lawsuits we need to see growth in EDIG products which has historicaly been a problem.

Once again, I refer you to the 21 Jan 09 PR excerpt from above. EDIG's plan is exactly what you stated...growth. Until now, they haven't had the resources to pursue this goal.

From the 10 Feb 09 PR,

“Per our recently announced shift in strategy, we are aggressively pursuing eVU business opportunities and partnerships beyond in flight entertainment (IFE). We are quoting an increasing number of eVU proposals and have scheduled meetings with current and prospective customers at IFE and non-IFE trade shows later this quarter,” continued Falk. “While eVU business has been extremely slow this fiscal year due to airline economics, we expect eVU results to improve in fiscal 2010.”

From the 17 Mar 09 PR,

Fred Falk, president and CEO of e.Digital, commented, “Our growing Flash-R-related revenues and intellectual property assets are opening doors to partnerships that we believe will enable us to expand our eVU™ dedicated portable entertainment system business in IFE, and into the medical industry and other segments of the travel andleisure market."
