Maybe I am looking at this completely wrong, but the 58% shown in your post from 2/28/09 and the 3.64% shown in
the current post seem to be percent change and not
absolute number or percent. The numbers under the dates below are the reported short shares.
Float 2/28/2009 4/1/2009

Short % of Float 0.161% 0.152%

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here....as I'm just a "dumb doctor". Terms like EBITDA are greek to me. Given this, after full weekend of entertainment (PGA golf tournament) by a few Stanford Financial execs, I was the one at the dinner table who was able to ask the "dumb" question...."Explain just how Stanford makes all of this money"......
