Both sides may not be happy with the outcome. Some bigger coperations will settle a lawsuit because it isn't worth the aggravation to defend it in manpower and legal fees. The amount of the settlement would indicate that this was one of those cases. A couple of million is not a lot of money to them..some is covered by insurance. That imo, is why the numbers of the Samsung case will be so important.
