CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Best news I've heard in a long time.
At long last our patience will hopefully be rewarded very soon, as early as next week based on the feedback from the CUU office. For me personally this has been a great learning experience in this investment sector, with a few key lessons:
1. Follow the money
2. Follow the best team in the business
3. Do plenty DD, then stick to your decision no matter what the MMs play at
4. Don't put all your eggs in one basket
5. Never gamble with what you cannot afford to lose
So, here's to hopefully being in a position to transfer CUU into 2013 TFSAs, 2013 RRSPs, and anything else that can reduce the tax burden. With what cannot be tucked away I'll accept the tax hit and enjoy my winnings :) Maybe even put a bit more into BXX if Elmer's going to do his magic there as well.
