CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Well now we know they're all blacked out and this is new. But we don't know why and this is interesting.
Here's my speculation for what its worth. A board meeting was called to discuss an offer for a buyout of the company. Jason was included because it affects his contract/employment as well. The offer was unanimously accepted and a N/R will come out shortly with the board's wholehearted approval and recommendation. There will not be a CUU2 so all employees/contractors will be affected and will have to look for employment elsewhere soon. We will know soon if this is the case.
