I'm sure Apple's position is the "innocent third party" postion that you describe. And since you know law better than I, I accept that unless Apple knew there was fraud and it can be proven, then their position represents the reality of the situation.

Do you have any thoughts on why Alliacense would not have pr'd the ChipScale license which I assume was purchased with the MMP? Seems like that would have been quite a feather in their cap as far as promoting that portfolio.
