I'd appreciate Rob van Hooren doing this job. Please send him your share counts, if you want to take part in this poll.
It would be great if we not only knew how many shares we hold collectively, but if we could also make use of them to exercise some influence. If we really hold something around 20 %, this would be everything else than negligible, especially in the case of a buyout resp. squeeze-out.
As suggested already, we could try to form a legal entity, an association for retail shareholders as its members. They would be from this forum in the first place, but membership would of course not be restricted to the fine people here. This association would represent retails shareholders and voice their opinions at the company, at institutional shareholders, at the AGM etc. Founding and running such an association would of course cost some time and money, but it could be worth the effort, because otherwise our voice could remain unheard – or at least it will be underestimated. (And no, the association's name would not necessarily be "$70+ club".)
Unless we get such an association up and running in time until the AGM, we could/should at least transfer our voting rights to trustworthy persons on this board who will participate in the AGM.
What do you think about these ideas?
