I agree with you Mrs Shepherd. We must not get the cart before the horse.

I could have perhaps emphsised more that AM's notion of Fab 2, as I understand his ideas, is that there is closer interconnect between engineers from Synopsys, third party fab and POET and/or cutomers engineers at the fab coal face. A collabration which is designed to bring designs products more quickly to market. Hence the idea of a 'Brave New Dawn' and the real prospect of producing marketable products more quickly than previously was obtainable and a rationale to expect real returns for all involved in the partnership.

This sort of User, Designer, Manufacturer close involvement in Project management is embodied in the PRINCE project management methodology popular her in the UK and mandatory in Military projects.
