The word "settlement" I agree is a word that might not fit the #3 senario, but then again it could.

These "sales calls" by RP and PN, showing what EDIG feels is an infringing company, doing the quick dog and pony, proving their point then leaving, sets the tone that "the next time you see us, we will have DM there too. Unless you chose the SETTLE this matter before we name you in a lawsuit."

Granted, I'm streching it here, a play on words even, but I'm sticking with my position that it is #3...but how can we ever find out?
