CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
That's exactly what I was saying, they "Earn" them back but will that not be prior to the mine producing an income, in which Laird would receive their 30% royalty? Also If Cuu sells to another major would teck not still have the right to earn the Laird shares back
They would. But how long could it take Teck to earn their 75% back ? If the new major has control during that time, controls the way the money is spent and imposes the 4 year clause with bad intentions, they can make Teck lose the entire 75% interest.
It's just to much risk. And why would Teck want to financing another major to production lol and put in $400 million of project value on top of that making the 25% mor evaluable in the end ???
So Teck just has to take us out of the picture, remove all futur risk and come up with an offer..in the next 120 days...
Because if Teck elects 1st without buying us out, we are open to sell to anybody and the majors will be all over us.
