CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Not so fast. A judge could decide that after 50 yr. that time lines and $ amounts need to be adjusted in good faith to make the deal fair. A 5yr period for construction might cut it and the 4x85mil might be deemed a reasonable amount just as the new capex is reasonable in todays conditions, the sticky point would still be who has control of expenditures. CUU is in a good position, a ruling might alter perameters but it would not harm us, Liard shares do have bargaining value especially if we were to transfer them to a large, powerful 3rd party.
