Good to see a man these days who knows how to keep something under his hat!

Interesting hearing about the property permissions. I am wondering if the $40. payment (with conditions sometimes) is all that the property owners get? Or is there also a requirement that the surface area be restored to its orginal condition at some point, depending on whether or not that particular area is mined? If restoration is not part of the deal, I suppose the landowner could negotiate for that as one of the conditions?

Fortunately, it appears that this permission is not a big deal to obtain in the GNH claims area. I can imagine that it could become a significant expense under some conditions, e.g.: the holdout on the Osisko claims which has been in the news lately.
