Kinda depends on how you spend your time. I spend alot of mine just helping out family and friends. I do consult occasionally, but usually end up doing it gratis because I become friends with my client (and they really couldn't afford me anyway).
Keep in mind that when I did work (workaholic), I was in extremely high-stress positions - to the point where my health suffered. When I left my last real job, I couldn't turn my head from side to side without major pain. I had had neck injuries in my youth, so I had caulked it up to that (and was seeing specialists, etc.). One month after leaving that job, I realized I could turn my head with no pain at all. Amazing what stress can do to ya....
