I agree completely.
PTSE would be "buying" the talent to run any JV, merger, or out right acquisition. At least in my world, the major players are put under contract even before the deal is done. PTSC becomes a financial oversigt and legal department. The aquired gets to focus on their core biz. Win-win with the right fit.
While some here continue to whine about David Pohl, I believe he did a good job steering the ship through some rough waters. Nobody hopes to have a S & L type finance deal wrapped about your, uh, head. However, S & L was a necessary partner and they have been rewarded. Get over it.
Looking forward, not always in the rear view mirror, will keep some from falling into the whiner abyss. Some will just make up what they do not know. I'm not sure which is worse.
