"BTG International Inc. has accused several technology giants — including Apple Inc., Dell Inc. and Sony Corp. — of infringing five patents related to flash memory technology by using chips from Samsung Electronics Co., which is facing a separate suit over four of the same patents. The complaint — filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas — claims that the companies have willfully and deliberately infringed the five patents"
I gave you the Samsung case involving the same patents
BTG patents involve multi bit ....cell, involving varying electrical references. Perhaps you could analogize a bit as a light bulb(where a grouping of bulbs make a light fixture,or cell). Where the bulb has a switch, so does a bit, in this case.....the switch would be variable.
e.Digital is only concerned in controlling, or interfacing the switch and make them follow their format.....They have nothing to do with what happens beyond the switch dealing with variable voltage references.....meaning beyond the switch a bulb(bit) can be 50% on, 25% on, 10% on....etc.
IMO, this might deal more with image sensory on CMOS where you equate those differences on a read back as an image.
saman.....keep in mind past commentary dealing with CMOS image sensor and my thoughts to you.
