Doni,
My question pertained to the technogical aspects for which I take it you are an expert. I didn't mean to question the competence of management at that point. Unlike others, I choose not to sound like a broken record. However, given your subsequent responce, I could also suggest that your explanation was colored by your feelings and thouhgts about your investment. Well, I know better and this is not the path I choose.
Nevertheless, my experience tells me that the necessary and sufficient conditions for success in the market place are: 1. Great new mouse trap and 2. A management that knows what it has and has the capacity to manage it. Now there in not any question that Edig has a nice mouse trap. But I would like to see raised hands about the sufficient condition. Mine stays down. I would like to state only two reasons for my reaction: 1. If the law suits are cookie cutters (and they are) then why DM doesn't get busy to flood the courts with them in view of the fact that they do make money. I have heard times and again the reasons from the shareholders here and the rationalization of the management. Yet, if the management was concerned with the welfare of the shareholders, it could certainly put together a PR suggesting that.... withoug violating anything or jeopartizing their strategy. Example: DM has ready x number of fillings ready for the month of August. Or, we negotiate with x number of firms. Or...The second reason for my hand staying down is that the present management had to learn from PTSC the way of pattern violations before they got busy to emulate. Shame.
I think the people here who object to the ways of management play a far more important role in shaping its behavior than all those who agree and admiring its ways. The management has to hear why the shareholders are unhappy and restless. Otherwise it has no reason why it has to amend its ways.
Finally, each of us has his/hers own style and reasons for investing. Asking why one is here is rather unproductive and a bit demeaning. I hope all this helps and In no way shape or form I was intending to offend you.
