This is way different than the LaserDynamics issue....seems to me all the ducks are in a row. Where for the claims construction to consider, there's not a whole lot to consider between the two, a half dozen points of contention. It also seems, as I read the construction docs, DM has sharpened up through the prior case. I can somewhat see why patents in the prior case were dropped.

Time to pull the trigger as they say...a big # win, if that's the way it goes, would not be overly detrimental on defendants for a judge to have to adjust a final amount.......

16 x ? doesn't seem much to say 100 mill...

And hope the two judges stay involved fully...
