CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Pat66, there are not "100 mineralised zones" - there are only Discovery, Paramount/Liard and maybe ES, GK and Mike. We never saw Mira and Elmer seriously downplayed that product during one of the teleconferences. The 1-to1 correlation only referes to the titan work and drilling in Paramount/Schaft; we dont' have confirmation of that correlation elsewhere (i.e. Discovery) but I would not bet against it.
I just wanted to clear up a few innocent mis-truths in your statements.
As far as conservative FS, I'm still no the fence. The 3 yr metal prices (including Moly?) last fall were a tad higher than what we used for our base case so I would then call that conservative.
I think the true test would be an analysis of 'worst case' metal prices and determining if SC could still break even when the markets slump. They make money on the spikes as DL or his VP said recently, but not loosing money and having to shut down during a slump would be probably as, or more important than the spikes.
jmho.
