CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Also as far as a buyout price based on sp. Ones that are telling you we will not get multiples over our sp just are ill informed and have never picked up the phone to talk with Elmer who will give you several examples of companies that have been purchased for 300 - 500% over sp.
Please confirm that Elmer implied to you on the phone that we are possibly getting 300 - 500% of share price. I have called in the past and got Mike, but he was very careful to not imply ANYTHING - kind of a waste of time, really.
Our situation is unique, insiders own the majority of shares and are not going to settle for anything less than fair value which imo is multiples over our current sp.
This is very true, insider ownership is huge here. One thing to keep in the back of your mind though is that if the insiders do accept a $1.50 buyout they will likely be up 500% on thier investment. They are in control - we are along for the ride. If EE wants to settle for only 500% return there is nothing we can do and I don't think he would go into depression over it.
We have to try and look at this without letting our emotions or previous expectations cloud the current reality. I hope for more for sure, as I will barely make anything at $1.50, but hanging on to the belief of a $7+ buyout for our 23% of the property that some people are holding onto I can't make sense of that. For so long we have been indoctrinated into the belief that this is a once in a lifetime investment, it is hard to let that go (I was one of them). I tell myself we should at least double from here, so I am still holding. If Elmer really is saying over the phone that 300-500% from here is a real possibilty - then I will be a very happy camper!
